Besides having a wealth of random knowledge, she’s also an incredibly talented colorist and stylist. She has a 360 degree understanding of hair and hair health. Pilar is passionate in her work and the connection with the clients. She remains curious about everything new, from techniques and materials to today’s trends and fashionable colours. The service and knowledge were exceptional. I highly recommend Salon Pilar! Charmagne was amazing from the first consult and worked with me to address a hair concern from a year of braids. After losing my stylist and friend to cancer, it has been a challenge finding someone passionate, knowledgeable and experienced with styling and caring for natural hair...she does it all from natural to permed to color. If I could give 10 stars, I absolutely would! This was my first visit to the salon, and it exceeded all my expectations. The space is clean, cozy, and welcoming, making me feel at ease the moment I walked in. Charmagne is a true expert in her craft. Throughout the appointment, she generously shared her knowledge, helping me understand what my hair needed and how to maintain its health. It’s clear she genuinely cares about her clients and is committed to helping them achieve their hair goals. Her warm and friendly personality made the experience even more enjoyable & fun. I got a blowout and a much-needed haircut, and I can confidently say my hair has never looked or felt healthier. As someone with natural hair who rarely uses heat, I appreciated how carefully Charmagne protected the integrity of my hair. The results are stunning, and I’ve received so many compliments on how healthy my hair looks. I’ll definitely be returning and can’t recommend this salon enough! Salon Pilar is a gem!

UK based but I was staying in Philadelphia for a while and WOW! I have never been on the receiving end of such great and attentive service. Best blowout & trim i’ve had to date.
