Listen!! Lol The moment I contacted Salon Pilar via Instagram, I knew she was the stylist for me!! From the time I commented on one of her IG pics (and she actually commented back), to the scheduling process, to when I entered into her warm and welcoming salon, I knew I was Home! My consultation day came and boy was I excited! Char was in the salon, behind the salon chair waiting on me?????? What does that say, she respects her clients time!! The time, care and listening ear she gave me during my consultation said all I needed to hear to know, again, I was home!! It felt like I've known her for years. I've been serviced several times since my initial consultation in May and it's always the same. Char is warm, funny, professional and knows her stuff!!! If you're looking for a salon where haircare and professionalism are at the top of your list, then baby, lol, this is it!! Final note, during my consultation, I was nervous and scared to trust another black stylist with my hair. She understood my fears, even classified it as, ptsd, and has allowed me to express those fears w/o any negative energy or lack of empathy. She's soo appreciated!!
